Haiti, I mourn for you

What a shake it was, terrible satanic,
Nature so cruelly turned barbaric,
Minds adorn rock-like statistic
Of death, starvation and the weak
Life's boat swirl.  A skull I want
A taboo of love I want, a hungry boat,
So that I can dicker all the heart
Smily  cheeks spread gloom yet
No block of arms only ruthless
Fate.  Callous Earth that trembles
The relectant hearts repel. Peace
And love dreams.  Oh boy you see
Corpses thrown and heaped
Muscular arms I want to stop the tremor
Wealth I want to feed the poor
And pure water to quench thirst,
Nine thousand bodies now found,
I want to give them peace, Jesus,
Save the souls from roaming
I, a poor Indian mourn.  Pray God
Never to recur such merciless deed.
