My Last day in The Hell

It is my last day in this hell
Fortune has sent me a car to go
My palace has been built in heaven
with overwhelming love and peace
Angels will take me to their world
to enjoy limitless joy and glee
His voice is very near to me
The light from His car illuminates my place
Yeah I will be relieved from this hell
My next day will be dawn in His Heaven
My eyes will forget to shed tears
My mind will forget to feel sorrows
My heart will forget fears
From this second
My travel to heaven starts
My next chapter will be commenced
with His smile and mercy
Welcome 2010
to see all this in my life

My Life In The Hell

A simple poem depicting past life. Hell is a place where you rest for a while enroute to Heaven. It is a place of expectation, perhaps unreal. Day dreaming provides immense pleasure and that may be heaven. Hell is real where we have to fight nd the vehicle that carries to a rapturous position is our optimistic dreams.Title is appropriate and let us spread our wings to eternal pleasure from the boredom of Hell

Very good!...

Nice, nice work, Steven. I really don't see a thing wrong with it. It sounds rather like a resolution for the new year. Like you are going to take charge and make the new year a good year. Great wordage buddy, ~ Gee

Fast car

This poem reminds me of Tracy Chapmans "Fast car" - the theme is exactly the same: The hope, however desperate, wild, unrealistic, that things can change, must change: "Any place is better". I like the fact that the escape to the "Other side" takes place in a car. It adds a certain realism to the whole thing while at the same time enhancing the 'magic' or 'religious' aspects of the poem. Unlike Tracy Chapmans very earthly destination, the destination in Ravichandrans poem is definately celestial, otherworldly and the car provides a means of transcending the limits between this world and the next. Thematically this poem hit me straioght between the eyes. Dreams of escape, means og escape. Hope. As regards the title: I'd prefer "This" to "the" - just as it is in the first line of the poem. I should not really be commenting too much on language use, English being my second / third language..
