SACRED LIES Listen and hear. They say I’ve lost my soul. Whatever that may be. And risk the fires of Hell Eternal agony. They tell meI began in this tradition And must see it through To The end. I am a soul that wanders In the shadows of sin. I’ve lost my faith They say again But then How could you lose what you never had. My emotions rule my reason Yet My reason rules my faith. I see what they don’t see And Wish it were otherwise These sacred lies That taunt me.
