Moon Beams

 Moon beams, moon beams everywhere,
to the windows they do cling.
When I try to clean them up,
they just stick to everything.

I polished and I scrubbed till,
my poor fingers sure were raw.
The harder that I rubbed them,
all the more moon beams I saw.
Now I found myself a way
to stop them all for certain.
To clean up all the moon beams,
I had to close the curtain.

By Jove !
