Beautiful, beautiful, its dream-like lilt and content swaying us like a love-sick swain, into its words, its web of thoughts so binding our attention, we near swoon with you at its end. Lovely thought, he knew a thing or two that Shakespeare! Love Ann of Norway

Dearest Ann:

Thank you so much for your generous praise. This is one I've been toying with for a long time - not so much this piece, but the concepts surrounding it. Every time I looked at the book on my bedside table I would say - now there's a poem in the making. I would have liked to dedicate it to the special man in my life but that would make it too constricted and limit the fact that no one can quite match up to this imaginery persona... this composite person of our dreams!
