Vaudeville Singer

Starllngs fly in the distance
Why do I believe these small black beads to be Starlings
They are so far away
Against a pink powder sky her neck
And the black bushes of trees stretching long
The black fur of her dress
The trailing soft snow
A delicate fringe around her feet
And a pause in the break of  a song
This is the mood.

“Against a powder pink sky

"Against a powder pink sky her neck" I like this line specially- its surrealist quality. This apparition has a magic about it i can see the whole so vividly, like a theatrical dance, nature takes on a role and so well she does it too. You paint the picture well. Vaudeville, was it so delicate and beautiful? A lovely brush of Winter's beauty Pink sheep, Love from Ann

The creativity in this work

The creativity in this work is simply "awesome."It sings at first read off the tounge. You play with the readers head in a throughly imaginative flurry of metaphorsthat so create the intended dark mood, and underlying conflict of emotion. A challenging work of poetic art. two points caught my eye as minor detractions in my view. point..1) Starllngs fly in the distance Why do I believe these small black beads to be Starlings They are so far away Against a (powder pink) sky her neck.............(against a pink powder sky...) And the black bushes of trees stretching long...(balances the syllables better The black fur of her dress......................................( I think The trailing soft snow A delicate fringe around her feet And a pause in the break of a song point ...2) Starllngs fly in the distance Why do I believe these small black beads to be Starlings They are so far away Against a powder pink sky her neck And the black bushes of trees stretching long The black fur of her dress The trailing soft snow A delicate fringe around her feet (And) a pause in the break of a song........... ("and." devides the intent ................................................. (slightly and dilutes pause ...................................................(I feel unless you want to. ...................................................(emphasis the rift. Breathtakingly beautiful. Barry ,,,o,,
