Deja vu
Déjà vu
His dreams alive
The secret to why
He has survived
He sees well
With both eyes closed
Perceives a knowledge
No one else knows
Déjà vu
Repetition
“Understanding”
In submission
Subdues his mine
Rules his thoughts
Silence falls
No one talks
Times slows
To an eerie halt
“This feels familiar”
A familiar thought
“I’ve done this before”
This he thinks
“I’ve seen this before”
His eyes he blinks
He’s always searching
For something new
“First times” all ruined
By déjà vu
