Deja vu

Déjà vu

His dreams alive

The secret to why

He has survived

He sees well

With both eyes closed

Perceives a knowledge

No one else knows

Déjà vu

Repetition

“Understanding”

In submission

Subdues his mine

Rules his thoughts

Silence falls

No one talks

Times slows

To an eerie halt

“This feels familiar”

A familiar thought

“I’ve done this before”

This he thinks

“I’ve seen this before”

His eyes he blinks

He’s always searching

For something new

“First times” all ruined

By déjà vu

A friend once told me after

A friend once told me after I said I was feeling De ja vu, "Well, do it right this time". It led me to a theory that De ja vu is you intersecting with a parallel life and at that moment, you have a choice to make. This work flows well .. I look forward to reading more of your writing..
