Walkin' the yellow line
She is but a babe in the woods, yet to learn that you don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today I feel like I am banging my head against a wall. the feeling of,Damned if you do damned if you don't Her chip on her shoulder is the size of Texas, A Sly little fox out for an easy meal in the sweet mask of the innocent out to find tall tales amongst the weeds "Ask me no questions and I will tell you no lies AuntieI couldn't possible know what you mean to tell me I am so put upon by your chores and high expectations" We are past putting her over my knee their is nothing left to uncoverWe have now been left with a battle of wills and I can tell you who will win this rodeo No battle of wit's here, she is unarmed and out gunnedI've got this all wrapped up like pigs in a blanket and hog tied like an old pro So she has no more sorry excuses to hide behind And my sympathetic shoulder is collapsing under the intense pressure Just plain old fact. I try to pass my wisdom on but I get slapped in the face for my effort Scratch that, deckedBut I am sure that will be the last time she will make that mistake at least with little ole me you know the old saying an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth and all, Could a rose by any other name smell as sweet, it sure the hell could if it respected me and told the truth but she will learn, come hell or high water no child of mine will get away with highway snobbery OK. That's all folks, shows over, exit (comment) stage left
