Flirting Danger
What a fairy-like pose by a steenbok!
Was her pausing at the edge of the road
a dash of curiosity?
Gingerly it gazed at us
as our jeep rolled on.
For a few brief moments, we captured her
in our quickest shots before she leapt
back into the deep greens.
In a flash, she was gone.
I heaved a sigh.
