fantasy

A world of fantasy,
a cause for jealousy.
With delicate fashions
and long batting lashes.
With fluttering wings
in a world devoid of kings.
Away from reality the fairies fly
filling up the wide open sky.
A palette of a brilliant hue
in a world of Xanadu.
Gorgeous doowey eyes,
shadows in the moonrise.
No need for a disguise
on what fairies sensualize.
Lingering on blooming flowers
while energizing all their powers.
Looking at the world in revery,
remaining in a state of ecstasy.

While it comes across with

While it comes across with some sexual undertones, I like the imagery and such resonating through this, the fairies and the moonrise and all. One thing: use capitalization and punctuation as you normally would. Undercasing everything looks like you wrote then slapped it up here without editing it. Enjoyed the read. Peace

Morgana Tragic, I took your comments to heart and revised my poem because I did not want anyone to think that I just slap them on the site. Thank you for your comment. danielle
