I won't lie

                 I won't lie
This starts with a torn heart,
emotions bleeding out
cry of pain.

Watching unable to care
Did you ever?
Walk out of my life

Eyes of distortion
blinded by  vanity?
Whoring yourself

Coldness of heart
Where did this start?
I am where it ends.

I will progress into happiness
I will not forget the pain caused
I will not faulter I will not fold.

I will move on as the days go forward, and progresss

your poem

More a personal response to an unhappy love affair than a poem of any originality. When writing in free form to elevate your writing above being merely prose sectioned into lines you have to bring to it expression and ideas that are novel and emotive. Your poem is heartfelt and sincere but it lacks these elements. But keep writing and reading poetry, it's a great way to mend a broken heart.
