Spaceship

I’m building a space ship to go to the moonIt’s taken me hours, it’ll be ready soonI’ve been out collecting all manner of stuffThere seems to be loads, but it’s never enoughThere’s boxes and cartons and pieces of woodSome string and some tubing they're always quite goodI’m nailing and tying and sticking with glueA quick coat of paint and I think that I’m throughMission accomplished for take off I’m readyEngines are roaring I’m holding it steady I look through the window, gaze up at the starsThere’s plenty of food so, I might go to Mars
