LIGHT'S LIGHT

Twilight

two-light

twin-light and moonlight

softly their shadows

show up in the dim-light

of minds enlightened

with grey-light

so patterned with ghosts

of the past-light

in cobwebs of the mind's spun thread-light

and as I fall prey

to the dream-light of sleep

doze to the sunlight

of memory's night

pale as a night-light

flickering dim

I see into the corners

of presences within.

Dear Margaret Ann,

This is one of your best poems. The alliteration in the first three lines really pulls the eyes into the poem. Then the poem delivers. You know what is coming but keep reading to find out the skill with which it is executed. Great work, Margaret Ann! Twilight two-light twin-light and moonlight Brian
