Lovely the Ballerina

The petite dog ensconced near the fireplace Lovely the ballerina symmetrically upon the foot stool nearby blowing smoke rings aside her head camel cigarette butts stuffed in an ashtray we shared the bottle of tequila there was no fire burning just candles flickering reflect off silver christmas balls listening to catholic girl confessions there was no cloaked anonymity lovely whispered about years at the University "Ritalin perfect for last minute college papers." (laughing) texts books you can't bare to read she hard pull the camel exhaled no surprise she was stripping @ Norma Jean's alongside butter or hosting illegal poker rooms strictly for Baltimore ballers and by invitation only not shocked to find bongs and left over seeds from the sweetest weed ever smoked or selected pieces from victoria secrets meticulously placed in her special drawer suffering from my own cinderella complex lovely vowed to conquer by confessing without remorse to mother © 2009 Lepadah

Wow this is quite the piece,

Wow this is quite the piece, I really enjoyed it...had to read it a few times just to take in the story of it and the character in this. The title sounds so eloquent, but the character herself isn't so. There is a compelling story in this, rich in the language and talking about her, well done. Just two picky little things: consistent punctuation and capitalization. Use both as you normally would to make reading the poem a bit smoother. Honestly, that's the only suggestion I can find to make and can't wrap my head around why this hasn't been recognized sooner here and been on the Lonely List this long. Sometimes the greatest gems are the lonely ones. Love this!!!!! Peace

Ballerina

This really resonated. It evoked,(for me),the vapid despondency of an age. I felt it for many hours.(Maybe I need outside help)
