A Case of Different Similiarities

What could be a dream come true ?
Who's to really say ?

Could it be the sound of spinning tires
coming from a convertible, on a gravelly dirt road ?

Or the way an infant grasps a hold of a finger
as it slowly drifts off, to sleep.

Then again, it could be something as simple
as that first kiss, with that special someone for your taste.

Any of these could "pass", but the point is...
it's anything that causes your heart to flutter, or perk up.

It's like when you find something that really strikes you funny
to the point that you just, don't care !

You even find yourself busting up
and yet, you're not at all embarrassed at how you look !

I also believe, that the same could be the case
in discerning what everyone's worst nightmare could be.

Anything might set you off, inside a certain set of circumstances.....
but ultimately, it's more than likely going to be something different, for everybody !

That's what makes us all so unique. We all see,
equivalent sights with varied perceptions, and personal conclusions.

So, once this concept is grasped, and cherished by all.....
then, and only then.....will we, as a people understand;

the notion that tolerance, is the order of the day.....
so that we all may enjoy our private moments.....in each, our own personal ways !

Makes you wanna ask why?

Makes you wanna ask why? Why, when we all have basically the same experiences, how we could make the *other* into someone worth ridicule, hatred etc. Very much like *your* poem Doc--inside our private lives, what IS the truth? Hugs, Anna Don’t let your victories go to your head, or your failures go to your heart.

You're absolutely right, Anna....

...you even said it very well. I'm just glad that this one sparked a little bit of feelings. Now, it merely depends on the "degree" to which we feel these things, and how we express ourselves in front of each other...nes 'pa? "Write on"! sincerely, #{:-{)}8==== docmaverick.
