The Figure of Hate

The Figure of Hate

Hate stands tall as a tree
With branches broad as the sea
Hate hides in the depths of the forest
Harboring much sorrow

Hate unleashes its fury
Upon the unsuspecting in a great scurry
Then retreats to the forest
Harboring much sorrow

I totally agree it should be unleashes. Here me again with the grammar. I did write this kind of quickly. thanks for the reminder. ~~~~~~~~~ Be whoever you are At all times, and Remember that Because of this, people will Always Respect, and Admire you ©2008Leonard Respectfully Yours, Barbara

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think a third verse might be more than necessary to make the figure of hate poetically visible. Strong it is and not so easy to describe. I was thinking about giving each verse another line making it five a piece. I think that might work. thanks for reading and commenting I really appreciate. ~~~~~~~~~ Be whoever you are At all times, and Remember that Because of this, people will Always Respect, and Admire you ©2008Leonard Respectfully Yours, Barbara
