To Love is Insane
My love for you endured
The fading of the sun
Waiting in the sunset
To see your very presence
The heavens shared your smile
The splendor of the crescent
I’m pulled for ever closer
To the dawning of your love
In the starlight of your eyes
Cherished words were left unspoken
Hoarfrost relentless thrust
Continued in right through
To desire is in vain
And to love is insane
