ICE CREAM KISS

                                                                                   they
                                                                          said goodbye
                                                                     with a kiss, lips contact
                                                                   the last fleeting embrace
                                                             she knew she would  ever make
                                                              the only clue he would ever take
                                                                      that she loved him
                                                                         it was enough
                                                                           it had to be
                                                                           that was all 
                                                                            there was
                                                                             or would 
                                                                               ever be
                                                                                a kiss!

I like fun

The title drew me in. When the kids were little, they always wanted to give us an ice cream kiss. I know this poem has nothing to do with that but I thought I would share. Lol. I found it a little sad, but it is written wonderfully. That's all there was Or would ever be A kiss. Aww. Love Lyz. XX
