It's Okay.....I Know Him

Enter the apothecary
stream-lined, self-made man;
where he doesn't know the answers
but, he's doing the best he can.

Since the age of his consent
he's always tried to do what's "good",
but, it's lost in the translation
that's why he's so misunderstood.

But, his heart is not in question
it's his motive that's suspect;
he really ought to try and plan more
and skip those dark hours of regret.

He's the guy that's always "skidded by"
I'm sure, to his relief;
and while trying to do his best to help
he ends up causing more grief !

Always right there in the "mix"
putting his two cents worth, in;
but, considering in retrospect
one just can't help but grin.

He's harmless while he agitates
but finally, in the end...
the "good" outweighs all of the "bad"
and he wears the label....."friend".
