Too small a poem

What can you love?
Undiscovered,Undiscarded
Walking,
A beach unwalked
Those conditions of sky
More lqpis then distance dreaming

The nuance of nothing
That filled my pocket with
Not the hour of your time
Like pennies to the left over drunk
In my hands
At Macy's window

Too small
for buying dreams
Or walking beaches
Too small a shell
To fit
The horizon

Your eyes

Dear O, you are the king of the sad poem, you do it so well my friend... I cannot fault your brillience in the sentiment, but there are a couple of typos, check the last line of first stanza... I want to know what that word is (lapis, as in lazuli?) it is a beautiful line with almost anything there though, a testament to your skill, sorry to hassle you, it's because I love your work. Also, did you mean to leave the "with" hanging in 2nd line 2nd stanza? It could work, but just wondering? Or should it have read "that you filled.." etc. Anyway, just have another read, I'm sure you'll see the things I caught, I often find typos after I first post. Hope you are well Take care Cheers Anni~ "To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man." ~William Shakespeare, Hamlet.

The eyes, the eyes on the horizon

The eyes, the eyes on the horizon like double suns your double meanings spill and lap at our minds their sounds filling the blue skies wih their undefined love. I will toss a penny into your hat Orphani, and wish you well at Christmas. Love from Ann of Norway.

Forgive me. I do much the same thing Kal... if not for you, I wouldn't have remembered to return. So much for short-term memory loss. Dear Barry, the older I am the less words I need to say what I feel. And this breath of a poem speaks in endless ways to me... My eyes are filled. It reminds me of another poem...being carried on a beach..one set of footprints. Love. ~A
