Adrenaline
Sometimes I forget
I'm here in
this world beyond the
glass -
this symphony of
bodies navigating time
and space
the landscape changing slowly
or rapidly
people crossing roads
bridges
rivers
oceans
continents
and all of it contained
within
where the electrons
are trapped in canyons
cannot escape
the fierce pull
of neural gravity -
the fatal attraction
of memories
flagged with adrenaline.
