Lively streets

Lively streets…..

Old London streets are dank and musty

But who can live with or without

Most saloons are noise, girls lusty

Would make rudeness pontificate and pout

Carnal knowledge with a street map

To live in central call taxi for lovers

Tired dogs lie and sniff the cat flap

Wisdom is dreams of itchy linen covers

Does this man bride deserve grooming

Not known at artful dodgers pub

Poor husband is presently assuming

Left there with the scalpels temptress

Slicing is his suffering from inside

Conman and model now play wicked game

Diversity sings best when nightly star

She always leaves a scent behind

A path or perhaps a stepping that’s far

Risk taker likes to cut best meat

Any trail shall be always, his to trek

Snarls loudly as sounding bolder

Clever feet will wander what the heck

Inviting is her skins bareness, kneed

Wet voice trembles sense leaves this night

Never two came together so is the wanting

Small scar on shoulder from others gotten

As rippers shadow fades others still haunting

Not much is shown for nights acquaintance

Throws of the blouse sweat stains stench

Her man he sneers at such small offering

How would he find new tardy wench

Falls onto bed and memory does kindle

Could her thoughts ever be as silly lass

Always is her first act to swindle

His smell was to differ her acts alas

Lies there and man he takes his want

Swept back in time to perfect pairing

Hags hatred stares and now feels affront

Only perfection left is their uncaring….

Lively Streets...

I was very intriqued by this work, and went back and read it two or three times, so that I had a better sense of what I thought you were saying. I feel I have the essence of it now, and like it! Sometimes we are jaded, and it takes a little jiggling to make it work. Sometimes we just pretend it works because we are too tired of trying. Great Work! ~ Geezer

Thank you

Please forgive me, i meant to reply when i first read your comment. But was not sure how to answer, and then i forgot all about it until now. It's pretty much how i imagine London of the past, and then some things i've seen of today. If there is any part in particular you want my thoughts on please just ask. Thank you for your comments Roscoe...
