Well, if it's so good bein' free...
Would you please explain all this to me
Whever I go - they check my i.d.
Meanwhile elsewhere they lumber tree after tree
And what about the ever increasing level of the sea
A result of our very own destruction, don't you agree?
Yet people argue about guns and bitches on almost every cd
Half of the world's population is forced to flea
So I neither need any ph d degree
Nor do I need to attend the Boston m.i.t.
Simply look outside your window, can't you see
Murder, global warming and money laundering are all wrong to me
So how could I support the government of this nation?!
When homelessness, sexism, racism and starvation are their very own creation
How could I believe in this system of education?!
Lyin' about historical facts and withholdin' essential information
And by the time you celebrate graduation
Only days after the last sincere congratulation
They request your service, force change upon your situation
Without receiving any further explanation
You're part of a war, run by careless corporations
Finally crushed by your own realization
"Could this be my final destination"
