Private Matters
I walked the lonely stroll
to the library of my heart,
and visited some songs that I once sang;
I re-met different characters I knew,
and basically re-lived several episodes
of a life that springs complete.
When one's timing is all off,
it is much to stretch a limb.
and growth spurts are usually painful.
However, in the shadow of your essence
I'm completed by the way
that, together we become one.
For, should you feel happy, or sad
I am forever in your wake...
buoyant...and, floating...
rising, and falling in your tide;
and you have allowed me that,
so I am forever in your debt.
As far as that, lonely stroll
down to the library of my heart goes...
that, is a walk that will remain as such;
because that walk is personal
meant to be savored, alone
but, whenever possible,
I will share with you the highlights
because, all of them collectively ring true;
making up the tune, that is, me.
to the library of my heart,
and visited some songs that I once sang;
I re-met different characters I knew,
and basically re-lived several episodes
of a life that springs complete.
When one's timing is all off,
it is much to stretch a limb.
and growth spurts are usually painful.
However, in the shadow of your essence
I'm completed by the way
that, together we become one.
For, should you feel happy, or sad
I am forever in your wake...
buoyant...and, floating...
rising, and falling in your tide;
and you have allowed me that,
so I am forever in your debt.
As far as that, lonely stroll
down to the library of my heart goes...
that, is a walk that will remain as such;
because that walk is personal

but, whenever possible,

because, all of them collectively ring true;
making up the tune, that is, me.
