Surrender

I chop onions on the cutting board
and tears well,
I think of you,
slice myself in half,

soon the snow falling,
silently

ecstasy comes, lifts
me once again,
it is you,
ever present,

only my aloneness
inside the sea of sky
and midday moon
prevails.

It is nighttime, soon
I shall sleep with you.

Forever one,
exiled
in the two of us.

Need I say...

you tell it perfect. There is much to be heard in the haunting touch of dreams. it makes me remember something- ...'how so the sun always rises? It does so, tireless of your way; yet knows not the ecstasy of your surprises touching...'

Surrender...poem ..comment

K., This is a fine love poem you've written. The mundane world turned nice by the mere thought and anticipation of connection, yet,........... "forever one, EXILED, in the two of us", hence...."Surrender". Always thoughtful expressions from you. Beautiful. wcw

Sad

You hit the spot. Your words penetrated. You have written some well awaited to be read words since I have been away and I am glad to get the chance to read them. You have been busy with a passion. Thanks, love Lyz. XX
