Surrender
I chop onions on the cutting board
and tears well,
I think of you,
slice myself in half,
soon the snow falling,
silently
ecstasy comes, lifts
me once again,
it is you,
ever present,
only my aloneness
inside the sea of sky
and midday moon
prevails.
It is nighttime, soon
I shall sleep with you.
Forever one,
exiled
in the two of us.
and tears well,
I think of you,
slice myself in half,
soon the snow falling,
silently
ecstasy comes, lifts
me once again,
it is you,
ever present,
only my aloneness
inside the sea of sky
and midday moon
prevails.
It is nighttime, soon
I shall sleep with you.
Forever one,
exiled
in the two of us.
