Decisions and Dilemmas

  Decisions and Dilemmas

In the distance stands a man
least I think, from what I see
He seems to be looking my way
and he's waving..is it at me

I am tempted to head toward him
but what to say, if I do
     Decisions...and dilemmas.....
          now what...I have no clue

Something in me draws me to him
          something stirring deep inside
But I dare not move too quickly
so I stand , hands at my sides

But, my mind says what's a wave
just what harm can it do
     Decisions...and dilemmas....
          now what...I have no clue

I look up, he's walking toward me
with a smile upon his face
I look back, and smile myself
          what was that...a quickened pace

My mind, it is now racing
what to say, what words to use
     Decisions...and dilemmas....
          now what...I have no clue

Here he comes, he's getting closer
please brain, would you kick in
Try and think of something witty
to lose this chance, would be a sin

Here he is...he stands before me
as I look to green eyes true
     Decisions ...and dilemmas....
          now what...I have no clue

Then he speaks to me so softly
with a voice I've always known
Then we turn and walk together
we head off to the unknown

Where we're going, how we get there
          I wish I could say I knew
     Decisions... and dilemmas....
          now what...I have no clue.

Boy! This work lends itself to a variety of responses. Some comedic, some romantic, and some risque`, and therein lies its' charm. Enticing.
