"I am shy." speaks my Love

"I am shy." speaks my Love.

The violet 'morrow
comes,
shy,
even whilst the speechless moon shimmers,
tears flowing down
my breast,
my river of sorrow

"Love, where go you now?"  I ask.

"Be patient."

My Beloved answers.

Ooohhhh . . .

beautiful. I love this poem and its simultaneous acknowledgement of pain and optimism. That combination is the fundamental truth about the world. The image of the river of sorrow is brillant. Do check your punctuation, though. I've been inspired to vote!

Arrow, thank you for

Arrow, thank you for reading, your vote and your punctuation check. Sometimes I aint so good. Always had trouble with quotes and such. Help is always appreciated. (Did I fix it?) We are but all-to-brief rivers of feeling flowing into one another...life is short. Be happy in joy and be sorrowful in sadness. There's enough water to quench our thirst. Love. ~a "...when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it." ~ Buddha

*“I am shy(,)” speaks my Love(.) *my river of sorrow(.) *“Be patient(,)” *(m)y Beloved answers. Now, off to my day job!

Dearest Mum

Be that our sorrow and our joy not weight more than each other ... thats what you make me think our longing for the love is the weight of our love ... the greater the longing the heartbreak the greater the love ... beautifully worded as usual ... your amazing you know that ? love and hugs Jayne x x x

Thank you all for reading.I

Thank you all for reading. I love my life in poetry. No matter what happens, I can turn it into a poem on a dime, even if some of my poems are worth less than a dime. HA! Hugs. ~A "...when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it." ~ Buddha
