After all I have said....
You said he'll take you to a clubTell me you're not desperate for his loveI know he's more grown up than meMy childishness you can seeSo should I sit here alone in the pub. But I bet he can't make you laugh Like the way I could do to you in the past A drunken fumble in the queueI don't think is the way forward for youI'll sit on my own in the barWhile he shows off his flash carBut will you still like my Cortina too? And I suppose he'll be great in bedEven if not, I suspect those words may be said The smug bastard, grins at meScared to think of him with you down on your kneesHe slips his arm into yoursI'm frightened he will expect morePerhaps now you'll realise what you mean to me And although I must walk awayHow on earth can I with your beauty on display I said "Don't you touch her again do you hear " Come into my arms you're safe now my dearIf I see him againHe'll know the meaning of painI claim i'll slit his throat from ear to ear And after all that I have saidI could never let you end up in his bed.
