MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY  CHRISTMAS

Two thieves had planned their biggest nighttime robbery
"We'll both be rich tomorrow!"  -- Christmas Day!
It would be rather like inverted snobbery,
For only the wealthy parents had to pay

Ned the Nutter's pal,big Rab the Stabber,
Shouted "We can't lose,we can't be beat;
When we dress up as policemen and then grab 'im,
We can keep old Santa's toys from every street!"

That night they put in action all their scheming,
Arrested poor old Santa and two Elves
But the plan became a nightmare, like bad dreaming,
For Santa's elves could look after themselves.

Martini sat up high upon a street light
Dropping sparkling fairy dust upon the pair,
While Cassis was keeping watch over old Santa,
Making certain that he had no trouble there

Soon the fairy dust had worked its Christmas magic
Arm in arm,Rab and Ned danced off to the jail.
Leaving Santa to deliver all your presents
HAVE A COOL YULE -- THAT'S THE ENDING OF MY TALE

Starting imbibing a bit

Starting imbibing a bit early, did we? ;-) "...when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it." ~ Buddha

'Tis the season to be jolly

A big boy done it and ran away. It sounded much better with one eye closed and anyway it is written for under 12s. That's three excuses and that's all you're getting. As for imbibing - madam, I deeply resemble that remark. Love Ian
