If I am Losing ground
if the arms of a world
could reach out for me
I would get on my knees
to beg and to plea
if dreams were illusions
glimpsed from a car
I'd live every moment
as if its my last
if the highway of life
looped around to meet
I'd scream every moment
through the soles of my feet
if I didn't have time
to say what I feel
I'd put to the court
a writ no man could appeal
but all this is silliness
glimpsed from a mind
lost in the heartbreak
of losing all time
