Hello Exes do you read ...

Hi Ex....

No if you decide to compromise

Be wise

Both of you sit side by side

Learn one from the other

What does him bother and or her?

Don’t take a refusal stance

Give your romance a chance

Men are a scared species

They hate to be refused

Refusal is killing

Worse than their ego

So go after the man

Whom you love with utmost compassion with true devotion

Then you will know

How you both can make love grow

Yes now make love

Before you really even realise

Come to know

You have a go

Then stop for a while

Fight again and then without respite

Try, try, try and try again

He will come around

He might

If not do not start a fight

Just ignore

He in any case was a bore

He did not know how to bore

Now you want him no more.

oh, be very wary of the second person

When you address a poem to the second person (you) it at least alienates the reader as a private joke, at worst comes off preachy. Poets don't give advice, they share passion, beauty, ideas and pain. Never the less this is a strong write. Cheers, Jess, reprehensibly irrepressible
