Just so you know

So saddened
that you receded
to a valley of silence,
hidden in shadow

So weary
that a blink
counted sheep,
that on a blind path
would lead you home

in the complexities
of the so whens
and the so whats
there was heard
'who cares?'

I do

I care that the river
washing your face,
will drown your last breathe

I care that your mourning
will overcome to a point,
that tips to no return

your grasping
on the tendrils of past,
grip to hold and never
let go,
but move on

I will always stand defiant
never letting you fall,
and I will be here

it is just so

This was a precious read I enjoyed it. Two things I would like to mention if you may is in this line 'hidden in shadow' there seem to be something missing maybe 'hidden in the shadow' and in this line 'of past, grip to hold and never' -- 'past, grip' should have a space. Otherwise its is perfect as you work often is. ~~~~~~~~~ Be whoever you are At all times, and Remember that Because of this, people will Always Respect, and Admire you ©2008Leonard Respectfully Yours, Barbara

Dear Barbara

Thanks for the visit hun ,.. I will put a space between past, grip ... thanks for picking that up ... hidden in shadow ... I meant the shadow lays over them, they are not in the shadow so I just cant change that line ... but i can see what you mean ... thanks for the time you took I really appreciate it ... love and hugs Jayne x x

Dearest One

As usual your work is spellbinding. It holds uncharted depths for me to discover. (and parallels my life right now.) Steve has taken a week of vacation days to be with me and take me to appointments. I just now asked him to read your poem, and he really liked it. I even got a kiss for it! Love, Cat p.s. I like hidden in shadow.

Dear Jayne-Chloe,

Look at this capacity! A tenderness of seriousness. With a maturity of word that hits like a birch, leaving an imprint of bark upon the skin. You are a lovely writer. And a writer who loves. When I wrote "The dysfunctional triangle and writing Or why we choose our bigamy serial". I was aware that it would be difficult. It sounds like a negative world view. The answer to Anna's question, which I paraphase to, "what then?", from the point of view of how we talk to each other, is that once we are aware of this complexity about communication, we are able to help ameliorate the potential harshness of its unfolding. Trying counts. You exceed in this gentleness each day. And here have added a sophisticated poetic dimension. Thank you. Higgliestly Bugs, Brian

your blog was what set this write off remember I said I had an idea ... well this was it ... “The dysfunctional triangle and writing Or why we choose our bigamy serial”. when you wrote that blog ... I honestly didnt see it as negative its really quite true in my experience ... and I can proudly say what I wrote was sans the drafts etc I normally rely on, just one small edit later after I posted lol I know norty but I felt it was just so as it was ... big smile your comments make my day ... thank you love and higgliest bugs Jayne x x x

You will never...

let go, and never let them fall. "A blink counting sheep, and a blind path leading you home. Seemingly full of despair, you manage to make it alright in the end. ~ Gee

This

is most certainly a statement of love, a particular variety of love which one finds very rarely these days. The ability and willingness to stick with a person who is mighty, mighty difficult: "So saddened/that you receded/to a valley of silence/hidden in shadow/So weary/that a blink/counted sheep/that on a blind path would lead you home/in the complexities/of the so whens/and the so whats/there was heard/‘who cares?’ "I do" A nice, heartwarming poem. Nicely done Seren!

Dear G.D.K

Hey I dont think we have met before ... welcome understanding is something I dont do well? but feeling is a different thing ... sometimes for an understanding ... I have to feel be it good or bad ... but thats life to not feel is to not live .. and what a waste that would be ... thanks for your comment it is appreciated :) kind regards love Jayne x x
