Love Affair...

I'll get you if I can...You know I will

It's only a matter of time... until

The feeling of peaceful surrender

The spell you put me under

I'll wait for you. You will need me yet

You know it's true, it's a sure bet

I hear you sing, the same old song

You won't get me! "I say...it won't be long"

Breathe deep and hold me, touch my brain

The soothing spell of nicotine,

Gentle feel, like a soft summer rain

Remember all we've been

I held you close in times of bleak despair

Helped you up, and calmed you down

Kept you from pulling out your hair

Made you really funny, acting like a clown

Com'on, tell me you love me, friend

Let me caress you once again,

Just one more time, then I'll let you go

Just once...No one has to know

Nay, get behind me you smoking son

There is nothing you hold for me

I don't see any very good reasons

Not now,,, I'm finally free

First and foremost

GOOD ON YA, now tell me how to stop, lol. You have written a great one here. How do you do it? Really, I would not be able to concentrate and be able to write a very descriptive poem like this. Dear man, you rock and I am proud you have done so well in both your write and the abstinence of the dreaded stick. When this bub comes I am hoping to be free of them by then, oh the pain, lol. Love Lyz. XX
