Nature

A floating carpet
beneath my feet
as each dawn
the sun we greet

As each breath
we all must take
as twilight ends
at daybreak

The mist must rise
to kiss the sun
awake from silence
another day begun

The birds break the silence
to herald the dawn
their joyful singing
awakes the morn

These lingering moments
captured in time
lasting forever
until the end of time

As life hurries onwards
people rush by
not seeing or hearing
what’s before their eyes

floating carpet each dawn a sun breath, twilight ends daybreak The mist must rise to kiss the sun awake from silence another day begun ~~~ like this one as is. silence broken the dawn in joyful song- morning moments linger forever lasting life hurries people rush by not seeing or hearing The essence of Haiku-like poetry is sparing words to get to the heart of an image... What you think? ~Anna "...when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it." ~ Buddha

Lyz I walked alone through the park. Serene was the morning so I stopped and sat a while I watch the creation of a day reborn I was priviledged to be there to see this creation for the first time The first human being to witness the birth of this wonder before me Blue
