Frost Fairies
Frost Fairies
The newborn moon in Autumnal night,
First quartered, framed by astral light,
Form frosted pastels on artist's wheel.
With fairy voice, mingled laughter peel.
Patterns of frost chiseled on garden wall
For those who see it ever enthrall.
O'er garden path of pebbled stone,
In groups, they fly, not alone.
Lacy frost upon their wings,
Tunes of joy their fey hearts sing.
Beauty in this spectral light.
Glory found in the act of flight.
