I work hard to be good

I recycle
am known for kindness to animals
even get called a "cat lady"
(but that' not so mad, I breed cats)
I protest for native rights

Volunteer to support the elderly (I am 79)
protested the Vietnam war,
and apartheid
Not a fucking saint

but found out recently that ASIO (CIA to Americans)
has a flile liisting me as a subverive.

So I am proudly subversive

FUCK ASIO and the CIA and MI6.
In Australia Frazer and Menzies tried to shut us up.

In America the War on the self-inflicted war on terror seems to have succeeded.

The proof will be in about a thouand words criticising this poem.

America has lost free speach.

There is an activist couple

There is an activist couple I have met. They've been involved in every possible peace activity for over 50 years. Truly remarkable, interesting and gentle couple. Free speech? Speech is never free, imo, what comes with it is the decision to die for it, not necessarily as a soldier, but as a human being who no longer wants to be part of the lies. People of the Lie. A good book written by the author of The Road Less Travelled. M. Scot Peck A must read. Thank you for your work, Meow.
