MY GRANDSON BROKE HIS LEG
MY GRANDSON BROKE HIS LEG
Every day of my grandson's life
Has ended with security
And that he is forever ,loved
Without this uncertainty
Because our love, is always unconditionally
So he can fly form the comfort of his bed
With all the airplanes in his dreams
This innocent gilt of the future that had no past
Until that day he had to sleep in a hospital bed
On this Friday , is the day.
My , grandson broke his leg
Their will not be comfort for him in this bed
With the IV into his arms
Is his uncertainty ,until the pain medications are feed
Is his uncertainty , more than the confinements of a cast ?
He is less than two in years
So his words are simple more direct
Why
Why, do I have to sleep in this bed
Why
Why, is this cast on my leg
Why
Why, dose my body hurt so bad
His wishes are tears the airplanes he once had
Every day of my grandson's life
Has ended with security
And that he is forever ,loved
Without this uncertainty
Because our love, is always unconditionally
So he can fly form the comfort of his bed
With all the airplanes in his dreams
This innocent gilt of the future that had no past
Until that day he had to sleep in a hospital bed
On this Friday , is the day.
My , grandson broke his leg
Their will not be comfort for him in this bed
With the IV into his arms
Is his uncertainty ,until the pain medications are feed
Is his uncertainty , more than the confinements of a cast ?
He is less than two in years
So his words are simple more direct
Why
Why, do I have to sleep in this bed
Why
Why, is this cast on my leg
Why
Why, dose my body hurt so bad
His wishes are tears the airplanes he once had
