The Cycles of Love

An accidental meeting
Love at first glance
Silent wishes
Hoping for a chance

Bedroom eyes
A hypnotic blue
Pulls you in
As you say I do

Years of smiles
Years of pain
Tears of joy
Tears cried in vain

Memories sharedA lifetime lost
Fight to save it
No matter the cost

Learn when to quit
When to call it a day
Love is the hardest game
You will ever have to play

Til it finds you again
The numbness fades
Your soul becomes whole
And your hearts
Merge as one
Then you know
You have finally moved on

This was written for a friend who's marriage just ended and he is absolutely heartbroken. I have been debating if I should send him a copy to see if it would help. Glad you enjoyed it.

Cycles of Love...

I think you should send it to him, but you know better than I. I suppose that if he is not ready, you will not convince him, no matter what. I know it took a long time to get over it, each time I went through it. I think I had a glimmer of an idea though, when I told my second wife,[she asked what does it take for you to get the message?] you are going to have to make me hate you. [She did!] LOL ~ Gee

i know

the stages and emotions well. Went through it myself when my marriage ended. I was the one who officially asked for it to be over but the pain was the same. Circumstances were different but still the same.
