The gull (To Frost)

The drawing of your hands
to a pastel setting of sky
The Hue  my heart remands
The sun burns deeply by
In the radiance of that oceangulls  the  worlds edge call
Rhythmical the tides devotion
when the absences of twilight fall

shadows are a better truth
Then unbound eyes that see
Unbound eyes with less then love
unbound Could never be

Your poem has the delicacy and magic of a dream

Never mind the blooming aesthetics of the site, your poem has the delicacy and magic of a dream and of a water colour painting so particular in sound and metre that I am spellbound in awe at its power of persuasion and beautiful simplicity. Oh what subtle vapours words can conjure up in our minds and filling the air with perfumes so special that none can reproduce them. Well done Barry of the perfumed pen such a night sky was worth recording to the memory, I shall treasure it. Ann of Norway send her love. "shadows are a better truth Then unbound eyes that see" ......would it be THAN?

This is short, delicate and

This is short, delicate and in its simplicity a beautiful write. The first verse is what I read in the stream and I just had to read the rest. i love it. And yes- the submit page can be stubborn sometimes. Try going back later and hitting EDIT and trying to resubmit it in it's proper form. Works for me. I don't know why it does that. But you posted a beautiful write either way. Peace n love Katie
