Nine Whole Months [EXPLICIT CONTENT]

Nine whole months I waited,
For relief from what you created,
All the lonely nights I spent,
After to her you went,
And you're still not here,
You're still not near,
But I'll keep it that way,
I'll keep you at bay,
And I don't care what you say,
Because now I'm free,
Free from the worst STD,
The one that you gave me,
That for nine whole months I had to adhere,
There's no way now I'll ever let you near,
There's no way, you hear?!
All the agony, to which I bore the brunt,
All the agony, of which tore my cunt,
So there's no way now I'll ever let you near,
There's no way, you hear?!

If i may be so bold

If i may be so bold, can i ask that you elaborate on this subject cause i am not quite sure i understand what it is about,i do have an idea, but i would rather your take on it to put into perspective,i understand this may be a sensitive subject so if you dont wish to reply i understand but i have to say my curiousity has gotten the better of me. in kindest regards, Lacy, Where power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

Hi

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to read my work and making comment. I don't mind elaborating but I'm not a very fast typer and it's a long story, but the long and short of it is; It is about a young girl who became pregnant by her partner of 5 years, who then left her for another girl. The young pregnant girl is going through pregnancy for nine whole months all alone, with sickness, streching and everything else that comes with it, but because she is so hurt, she can only see the negatives in the experience. So hurt that she feels like she has been given the worst STD going - pregnancy! I am going to write another whereby the young girl's frame of mind changes because of the beauty of her baby and the joy it fills her life with, but I am working hard to make this new one perfect. Once again thank you for reading and thank you for your comment. J x

You conveyed the hurt well without being too explicit

Though I never experience this kind of hurt I relate with friends and family that have. I think it a good write for others that may face this and gain comfort knowing they can move on deserving better. My only suggestions is to break it up in to stanza of three for example to make it more reader friendly, but it not necessary if you choose not to because it reads good the way it is. I agree with Calliope "the title threw me off. I think of giving birth to a baby. Since I can't relate to the treatment of stds maybe it took nine months of treatment to get rid of it? What do you think? Maybe you can give us just a tad on what the nine month is about. ~~~~~~~~~ Be whoever you are At all times, and Remember that Because of this, people will Always Respect, and Admire you ©2008Leonard Respectfully Yours, Barbara

Maybe I'm just warped

and no offense to the other fine Ladies who commented here, but I got the right impression from your poem, first read through. I had never before thought of pregnancy as an STD before, and I think it is a sad but clever concept. This is a very good write, in my opinion. Keep up the great work. I'll be looking forward to reading your next piece. Always, Cat
