MOUNTAIN LAKE WALK
Ripples on the surface of
this lake ,expanding circles
from it`s epicenter make
lapping sounds on the shore
washing over pebbles there
galore.
On that shore is where i stand
with those pebbles in my hand
that i gathered from the strand
In the distance i see mountain
valleys with small wooden chalets
another face walks this strand its
their name i have etched in sand
warmth in a breeze recedes through
meandering hills that spill to to the
shore where pebbles galore are
washed under feet as we walk talk
and be .
this lake ,expanding circles
from it`s epicenter make
lapping sounds on the shore
washing over pebbles there
galore.
On that shore is where i stand
with those pebbles in my hand
that i gathered from the strand
In the distance i see mountain
valleys with small wooden chalets
another face walks this strand its
their name i have etched in sand
warmth in a breeze recedes through
meandering hills that spill to to the
shore where pebbles galore are
washed under feet as we walk talk
and be .
