Bird dance a "duende"

Take your step and then

a pause

on again in sweet succession

swing her down to touch the ground

where hanging there

she looks into your eyes

and don't disguise

your bold intentions

inventions

up again

and on

a fireball over the floor

to swing and hover

like a plover

at the turn

plunge

red feathers flying

on again like gliding

to the door

and up the head and shoulders

as you rise

surprise

stop

hesitate then swing around the leg in full control

black looks

and fiery fierce desire

like fire

descends the blouse

as you perspire

you rest a moment on your toes

before you dive

your final pose

defiant statuesque

'duende' at its best.

The Dance of Love!

O'Queen! Your dance pleases me to no end! Intentions are crystal clear! You are still quite the lover! The eyes say so, and the mind is the most beautiful part of a person. I have always said that I can see the beauty in any woman. Of course there is the exception... but I think about what stops a woman from being beautiful, and there before you know it, she becomes real enough to see the things that she longs for and therefore becomes beautiful in the wanting. You were always beautiful, no matter what you might have thought. You have given much. And that light that you have given, is what makes you so. ~ Your Knight of the realm, Sir Gee.

I have to reply now!

As soon as I saw this moving snippet, I had to come and thank you for your continued devotion oh Sir Geezer what devotion to your Queen, she is overwhelmed with feelings of pleasure that Queens shouldn't have!! I too, if I may be so bold, see the glint of a nature sweet and kind, in those eyes of yours. If I have given light it is I too who have received, for in the giving receiving from you, and your fellow knights of poetry such warm thoughts with which I too am charged with love. Love of ones fellow beings in this harsh world of violence and wars, poverty and misunderstandings, is worth the greatest gifts of all, and I thank you, and those who fight for this cause above all. As I sad to Anna recently, her poem-I don't know-!( can't remember the title, scusi) it is up to the individual to do something about all the problems of the world so that we may have the peace of mind to ponder such things as love and communication with all peoples of the world, none above another, as human beings on this earth. All of one family. As your Queen that is my aim in life, as I only discriminate against those who themselves discriminate. Peace be with you dear Sir Geezer. Your Queen with love. Ann.

Your devotion to the subjects here, and those in your life, are evident in the way you conduct yourself. You have focused the light on those things that are important. The emotional balance that is humanity, and our reaction to it. We are all in this ship together. We must all row in the same direction, or we will not go anywhere. When we learn this, humanity and our ship will travel beyond the realm of what we can concieve of and traverse the universe. Thank you O'Queen for the reminder of what we may yet be! I love dancing with you! ~ Sir gee

in the casement window of my brains fortress.

I am suddenly amused, although perhaps so, out of place! As when you said we should all row in the same direction I saw it as a straight line and as such we would go off at a tangent and arrive in SPACE. Only my odd old brain thinking in its funny way, but it made me laugh. We are all going straight ahead in the circular motion round the globe, all thinking of ourselves as going in the same direction and meeting our start point in the process, it seemed suddenly funny to me and now to think out the strategy for my nautical group, which doesn't yet exist, but when it does they will have to employ a philosopher at least, to help them figure it out don't you think? Its quite a thought and one one would like to embroider further, in the casement window of my brains fortress. There, like the one in the castle of Pau in France, up onto the windows deep and wide sill, with its stones benches either side of the window, I can feel staid enough to contemplate this problem, or theory of yours, I will inform you of development, assuming there will be some at some later date... Do you know it would make an excellent subject for absurd theatre don't you think? Yes I do. You continue to flatter me Sir Geezer, I don't know how to take that except to say thank you for the kind and good opinion you have of me, all I should wish to add is that I hope that I can live up to your expectations of such an opinion. Oh this is getting a little muddled! I have had one glass of mine but that's not enough to befuddle me now is it? I will leave you to ponder the evanescences of things( not sure if that word fits here but it sounded good don't you think!) And together we shall al row in the direction of love and peace on earth. Amen. Your Queen in high spirits with love. Ann of Pau.

The opinion I hold of you...

Is marked by what I have seen of you. You have never shown me anything different. And so I continue to view you as someone worthy to call my Queen. One glass of wine [mine or otherwise], is enough to put a soul at ease. As for all of us rowing in the same direction, no matter if we go straight or circle the globe, if we do not all cooperate we will not get anywhere. Evanesences of things. I believe that it means the passing of something. A mood, person, whatever. And yes, it does sound good! I love absurd theater, and think it would indeed make for a good act. ~ Gee

Shall we dance Sir Geezer,

Shall we dance Sir Geezer, my much favoured Knight? But I have so many clothes on (ER1st) Knickerbockers and stays in my corsets underskirts and bodice laces, jewellery, hairpins and dresses, and you have your heavy armoured plates, your helmet, your pointed metal shoes; and, well, I think the noise of our dance would drown that of the music perchance! We shall have to do it secretly, I know a room where we can hear the music, all secluded, in the turret of the east wing of the Castle Neoborg; and there I can arrange a little feast, you daring Knight! Á tout a l'heure mon brave! Your Queen.

A feast!

Perchance will there be smoked salmon, and sharp cheese? A little sweet champange? Olives! Brown bread, and some honey cakes and raspberry tarts! We shall dance and sway to the sound of lutes and zither outside the door. Smoking eyes, shall behold our naked brains. ~ Sir Gee

Ah yes, divine!

Ah yes indeed kind Sir, you shall be garnished with a full regalia of meats and condiments, sweet meats and legs of mutton, chicken's brain and fetishes, dishes of strange unknown beauty devour at the hour of our sway, with minstrels who have composed odes to our content for later seance in our secluded spot! Nay zounds we shall undo our gowns and ....ah! As befits a Queen I must stop here, as such excess of language is too dear a price to pay, I abstain from finishing my sentence right here. I MUST confess I do not like sweet champagne, if it must be champagne it must be as dry as it can be, for me? But perhaps I may proffer an alternative, such as the sweet myrtle liquor of Corsica, the one that is not so sweet, and wafts the perfumes of that 'Ile de Beauté' to our nostrils as we drink; as it did Napoleon, ever the nostalgic memories of the land of his birth. And there too we can exchange tales of times gone past, when we were young and on the run, although a Queen, I was not cloistered in my castled stays too long, and roamed far and wide in spite of my upbringing, its Victorian-ate trimmed judgements thronging my thoughts with shame, yet who's to blame, and I, being the fiery spirit that I know I am did break away from protocol and shun the straight and narrow ways of royalty's supposed elegant code!(!!!!!!!!!!!!!) And did find solace soon in modes of conduct carried out beneath the mother moon, so secretly, my parents could well swoon at knowledge of its boon. Oh my, oh my I digress 'tis soon the hour that you my ....will bless and we must hi to that fair place of chance and dance the hours away until the light of day doth through the windows stray and tell us hasten dress and don your gown, 'tis dawn and business of serious measure must indeed interrupt our pleasure. Ah sigh, ah sigh's do now my face disguise and I must do my duty bear the orb of office, heavy I thank thee kind knight for our dance. and see thy maid comes running she's the jewel in your crown of glory my fair knight and to her arms you must return tonight. He loves you true dear lady that I know and your knight is guilty of no thing despicable no sin, he merely danced the hours with me the while and I did relish that as his fine style of movement was a pleasure beyond measure I thank you now.

The dance has ended...

But quite content, is this Knight. We have saved our dignity and been quite proper. My maid has no fear that improprities have occured. She knows how I love to dance. Of course you may have Myrtle liqour and dry champange. Ah, such a feast we have had. Now my fair applesauce maid and I enjoy the considerable ort that has been left. And dancing of our own! ~ Thank you my Queen, for a simply charming evening. ~ Sir Gee

You are so particularly kind and loving Lyz

This is a short and beautiful comment, I couldn't wish for more. I can see my pen, which I love to write with best, swirling about and stopping now and then, the actual creating of a letter has a flourish that these little scrabble-squares haven't got, they have no 'duende', they are but the percussion of a musical piece. My love to you kind Lyz from me. XXOO P.S. Just for fun, when I looked up a spelling check 'it' thought 'duende' should be Dundee!!!
