The End of Self

He got the bad news
told to him today
Then told his wife
They kneeled to pray

The weeks went by
and the time grew near
They faced it together
Neither held any fear

He asks "Will you love me
the time I have left?"
She replies " I'll love you
til the end of myself."

"I'll love you to the end of myself." How beautiful, Rett. How absolutely beautiful, who can ask for more? Love & Light, Anna "...when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it." ~ Buddha

Sometimes, a person just has to get mushy. *S* I appreciate it m'am. Respectfully, Rett: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time" Abraham Lincoln..Now, if our government would really learn that.

Oh I will love you till the end of myself

Oh what can we say to that but adore it. Rett you have a heart of pure gold much like the look of pure gold that glints in your eyes, you are a kind and good man, we see it in your poetry and feel it in your expressions. You haven't fooled me! Love to you and all you love Rett, and you deserve it. Ann of Norway.
