SIZE MATTERS

Don't overlook the miniscule the finer points, the details...the petulance of plenty once exudedgives  no  recourse to subtlety,'Smallness' - becomes tainted, 'Little' - gets excluded.  Loss of the light touchfeeds the heavy-handed,engorged mouths -leave the hungry feelingabandoned. Yet too little can be as destructive astoo much...deprivation inspires depravity, just as excess - engenders disgust!  BjR  October 31, '09

Dear Bonita,

My goodness! Do you have a dramatic infection? Are you having licentious afternoons with some toy lover? This is an exceptionally good poem!!! the petulance of plenty once exuded gives no recourse to subtlety, engorged mouths - leave the hungry feeling abandoned. deprivation inspires depravity, just as excess - engenders disgust! This is a "got them by the throat" poem. And the title does exactly what a title needs to do - demand, no, DEMAND! readers. I cannot fully express just how far you reached this time. Brian

Ah Brian!

Your comment has come just in time to see me off to more pleasant dreams!! Here I was stressing that after much ado with the jinxed layout - none was to call by or comment! THank you so much for your constructive, heartening critique! I penned this earlier today, after reading something petty about "don't overlook the small things"... and VOILA! - Sorry to dampen your imaginative ardour - but no! - no toy boy or such! In fact - a whole bunch of them here getting ready for Halloween today! Teenagers that is! ;) Thanks again! Boni

Happy Halloween Boni to you

Happy Halloween Boni to you and your *boys*. So many outstanding thoughts, lines here... makes for a balanced meal of subtlety that hits you like a ton of bricks. Love & Light, ~A "...when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it." ~ Buddha
