PSYCHO KILLER - Qu'est - ceque c'est?

He remembered older carschevies, buicks and plymouths -it tied in with his proclivity for lost parts. He saw himself lonely -stalking seedy, smoky, bars - downing wanton women,  whiskey sours, despising country guitars. His memory recalledstraightening out wrinkled sheetshis face as etiolated,

as his virgin heart replete. Jim Morrison's LOVE HER MADLYstill reverberated in his headalthough he'd left not long ago -she already expatiated with the dead... "We've got tonight - who needs tomorrow?" Silver Bullet from Bob Sieger's band:he knew that's all there waswhy not take a stab? She was a common whorewho would give a damn,he brushed off fallen fibers,as if they were her future plans

Dear Boni

As Anna said: "Killer Poem!" Now you've got my head filling up with Jim Morrison's songs... "Love Street" was one of my favorites. Always, Cat

Dear Bonita,

This is an impressive piece, Bonita. The line, "his face as etiolated" is really something. And the stanzas pack a lot into each without any burdon. The last stanza brings the poem to a very fine ending. Congradulations, Brian

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY...

"The most violent passions sometimes let us relax, but vanity keeps us perpetually on the go" de la Roche Foucauld. I hope this proves to be the case with my writing. Thank you for your startlingly succinct appraisal! Bonita j
