A Vision So Tender

Anticipating arrival,
Lurking at the bend,
Longing for revival,
Ready for his ascend.

Upon the brow,
A bleary cerulean,
A scudding wow,
Laced with aluminum.

The sapphire haze,
Dealt glorious sight,
Clutched in a craze,
Stunned by delight.

Instant devotion,
To unsung splendor,
Oceans of emotion,
A vision so tender.

Beauty inexplicable,
Unworldy perfection,
Feelings admissable,
Truthful affection.

Torn from display,
As he flew on by,
A taste of dismay,
A tear in my eye,
Excitement in decay,
Retreating, I cry.

In sanctuary seeking,
In sorrow I crawled,
Stopped by an angel speaking,
I became enthralled.

My name is asked,
I turn; It's him,
And my heart's basked,
Since therein.
