Baiser de papillon

Softly as feathers filter gentle wing,
a careful breath nurtures in passion's wake
as lover's eyes spill tears - delighting in.

Needs tendered and aroused within this crutch
pull passion near and hold on with love's clutch.
Expression meshed with nothing in remiss,
heat heightening ethereal abyss.

Connections made within this coupling,
lilt arias that one cannot mistake,
as senses swell, blending both hearts to sing.

The private wings of one with special touch
soar high where hope encompasses so much.
And simply quenched, fulfillment arched in bliss
holds captive within butterfly's brushed kiss.

Pamela,

your title caught my attention, as my French is just about well enough to decipher its meaning. Imaginative, butterfly kisses... I like that. An enjoyable read. You will definitely excel in next month's contest :) And thanks for the link to the Sarabande sonnet. Yours, ~Nina

Thank you Nina. I am glad you enjoyed this. I do hope you will try one? Can I take a moment to ask what points do? I noticed that I earn points when I comment but wondered what they are used for. Thanks again. I truly do appreciate the feedback. ~Pamela
