Green to Glass
Cleaning the green
that lines the mold
making it smoother
and softer to hold
Painting a flower
purple and blue,
shaping the leaves
veins running through
The curve of a stem
started to form
and fibrils of petals
sway to a storm
Painting the glaze
the image fogs fast,
making a vase
in time to be passed
And finally on
the bottom side,
I sign my name
and date the time
