From The Belly Of The Beast

"There's no place like home"
some would frivolously say
I can eat and function
but I haven't slept in days
A new glow burns through the clouds
loudly announcing the next morn
again I've neglected restful duties
and delusive promises sworn
So pack your swag
we're leaving
we're moving on to oblivion
just you... and I
The beasts will swallow travelers
and we'll be warm... safe inside
we're moving to oblivion
so i can rest my weary eyes
to begin fresh, reap solidarity
and leave the world behind
We're moving to oblivion
to oblivion just you... and I
where we can faintly fall to rest
and slowly decay and die
onwards to oblivion!
just my mind... and I

Out of sight Australia is

Out of sight Australia is now *deep in the heart of Texas* Sorry couldn't help myself, see my mind and I have been traipsing in Euphoria for a long time now. Love your poem, man. Love it! ~A "...when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it." ~ Buddha

Dear Boss

Once again enthralled in your write. I hope Brando is not keeping you up, depriving you of your sleep. Oh the joys of puppies. This poem is deep and it is hard to comment for fear of saying the wrong thing, so I will just say, great poem and take care, love to all Lyz. XX
