This Question

I asked
this question
from my
point of view
hoping for
a suggestion
and an
added clue
I wanted
to say
and needed
to think
before the
close
of day
when my
mind goes
on the
blink

Dear Bernard Sumner

Q: "When I paint, I paint what I feel and not what I see...
But when I write ( poetry ) I write what I see and sometimes how I feel, does this apply to
you, if not, then how do you write???"

I told
myself to
not hold
my breath
will always
follow you
until my
blasted death
for this
mans answer
will definitely
not come
which will
leave me
forever numb...

Dear Fleur

Quite a brilliant write actually. And as far as your question goes, I think you are unique maybe. If I dabble on the easel I try as I see and write what I feel. Not many people can do as you and your vision is perfectly fine and have you ever heard of Sir William Dobell? He was my friends fathers uncle and we used to live near him at Wangi, he used to get cranky if he was trying to paint what was right there in front of him but he would paint the subject a lot later down the track, from how he felt. We are all different and one day we may see your work and enjoy it as we do these lovely from the heart writes whether seen or felt. I am raving. Well done Fleur. Enjoyed. Love to you and yours, Lyz. Xx

This was sooooo enjoyable in

This was sooooo enjoyable in a "that'd be right" kinda way and I loved it Fleur.. My mind goes on the blink too sometimes so I give myself a good slap to the side of the head and that tends to fix it.. Cool write Fleur I loved it best regards Stuart

Definitely the wow factor, love this.

And it raises some really interesting questions and issues. The structure is perfect. When I have settled back in here a bit and am ready to step on some toes I am going to post a blog titled "good poetry does not come from the heart" Cheers, Jess, whose nature is irrepressible

Another reason I’m glad

Another reason I'm glad you're back, Jess...bringing my attention to Fleur's poem. I can only say well done, Fleur. It's using both sides of one's brain to create. (So to speak.) I much enjoyed Stu's reply. In Hungarian we have a saying, roughly translated: (you'll) get a (slap) upside the head. Much like that commercial.... I could have had a V-8. ~Anna Don’t let your victories go to your head, or your failures go to your heart.
